Circle
X began with
the onset of the registered brand handed down by my father. Therefore,
the name of our farm and purebred herd. We are located in south-west
Saskatchewan, about 20 miles north of Highway #1.
My wife,
Audrey and I, were married in 1976, raised two sons, Ryan and Kelly.
We have been very active in farming and cattle, having a commercial
herd until 1986, and we began our purebred herd in 1987. Farming
has always been our main priority, with cattle being a diversification,
but has grown to be an integral part of our lives.
In 1999,
we decided to have our bull sale on the farm. With the help of family
and friends, it has turned out to be a great success, with the spirit
of a relaxed and homey atmosphere. In the
fall of 2003 our son Kelly, married his partner, Anita, and will
be continuing to work with us in the farm and cattle business.
This year of 2008, we at Circle X decided to sell our bulls privately out of our bull pen. This gives our customers more freedom to pick a nice day when they have time to view the bulls. If you desire help from us, we would be glad to give you a background of the bulls, their mothers and help you find the bull that would work the best in your herd.
